Why We Started This
Every Tampa business owner we met had the same story. They paid somebody for a website. The website was fine. Nothing happened.
Not "nothing happened" in the sense of a catastrophe — nothing happened in the sense that the phone rang exactly as often as it had before, and nobody could explain why they had spent five thousand dollars. The designer had delivered what was asked for. The site loaded. It had their logo on it. And it produced nothing, because nobody in that transaction had ever asked the question that actually mattered: what is this website supposed to do?
That is the gap we built Dominate Solutions to close.
What We Actually Believe
A website is an asset with a job description
Not a brochure. Not a digital business card. Not a design artifact. An asset that is supposed to produce a specific, measurable outcome — usually leads — and if it is not producing that outcome, it is not working, regardless of how it looks.
This sounds obvious and almost nobody in this industry operates this way, because "does it look good" is easy to evaluate and "does it produce revenue" requires actually tracking something.
Search and conversion are the same problem
Most agencies treat SEO as a bolt-on. Design happens, then someone installs a plugin and fills in some meta descriptions. That is why so many beautiful websites rank for nothing.
We build the architecture from search intent outward. The sitemap comes from keyword research. The page structure comes from what the query actually needs answered. The copy comes from what the buyer is genuinely worried about. Design serves all of that rather than the other way around.
The honest answer is usually cheaper than the profitable one
We regularly tell people they do not need what they came for. Someone asks for a full rebuild and we tell them their site is structurally fine and they have a conversion problem — which is a fraction of the cost.
This has cost us real money. We keep doing it, because the alternative is taking someone's ten thousand dollars for a project we know will not solve their actual problem, and that is not a business we want.
You should own your website
Completely. Domain, hosting, files. No proprietary platform you cannot leave. This is not universal in this industry — plenty of agencies build specifically so that leaving is impossible, which is a strategy that only makes sense if you expect people to want to.
How We Work
- Strategy call. Thirty minutes on your market, your competitors, and what is actually blocking leads. You leave with a plan whether you hire us or not.
- Blueprint and fixed quote. Sitemap, keyword map, page-by-page conversion plan. One price. You approve before anything gets built.
- Design in week two. Not a mood board. The actual home page. We build in the open.
- Launch on the date promised. With tracking wired in, so you can see what it is producing from day one.
- Thirty-day check-in. On what the numbers are actually doing, not on how everyone feels about it.
Who We Build For
Established Tampa Bay businesses doing real revenue who are losing deals to competitors with better websites. Contractors, medical practices, martial arts academies, photographers, home health agencies, and professional service firms across fourteen Tampa Bay markets.
We are honestly not a fit for pre-revenue businesses looking for a five-hundred-dollar site, and we would rather say that now than take the money and underdeliver.
Where We Are
10006 Cross Creek Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647. A real address in New Tampa, not a virtual office. The phone number on this site rings a real person, which is a lower bar than it should be and one that a surprising number of agencies fail to clear.
